A thirsty crow was flying here and there in search of water. When it was flying in the high of the sky it saw a pitcher. It went there and sat on the pitcher and saw a little water in the pitcher. The water was too low down. The crow tried to drink the water but it could not reach the water. It tried to break and overturn the pitcher, but could not. It was a clever crow. It hit upon a plan to drink water. It saw some small pebbles lying near the pitcher. It picked up the pebbles with its beak and dropped them into the pitcher one by one. The water level rose high. Now, the crow could reach the water. It drank water to its heart’s content and flew away.
The moral lesson of this story is that where there is a will, there is a way.
