Once there was a snake. One day, it began to snow. It was frozen by the cold. It could not crawl. A villager was passing by the way. He felt pity for the snake. He took it to his home. He warmed it near the fire. Then the snake regained the power and began to crawl. The villager’s children were living near the fire to warm themselves. The snake darted them. Fortunately, they escaped unhurt. The villager took a stick and killed the snake.
Moral: We must not be ungrateful.
